How many years have you been involved with CrossFit?

Whats your favorite cheat meal/treat?
Favorite treat is cheesecake or Jeni’s ice cream, but honestly I’ve never had anything from Julia’s bakery that I didn’t like.

Whats your favorite/least favorite Benchmark WOD?
I know that I’m crazy, but I love longer benchmark WODs like Filthy Fifty & Kelly and I haven’t met a hero WOD that I didn’t like, after it was over :)

Whats your favorite/least favorite movement?
I like deadlifts, box jumps, muscle ups, & wall balls. I dislike pistols
& high volume pull-ups.

What sorts of events/movements would be great for Team CFM at Regionals?
Interestingly enough, things that I wouldn’t consider in my wheelhouse as an individual athlete, higher volume handstand push-ups, c2b pull-ups, snatches, and shoulder to overhead.
What sorts of events/movements would be “not so” great for Team CFM at Regionals ?
I think higher volume, heavy squats of any sort, or deadlifts, especially if they are combined with rowing or running. Things that test lactic threshold. Basically, most of the things I would get excited about seeing personally are typically not things I like to see come up for the team.

Who is your favorite “A-List” CrossFit Athlete?
On the men’s side, I like Spealler and Ben Smith. On the women’s side, I like Annie T. and Becca Voight, but over the last year or so, I’ve become a fan of Val Voboril as well. She has such a laid back and balanced approach to training and competing.

Besides CrossFit, what hobby or activity do you enjoy most?
I still love to run and I enjoy reading.

-State one fact about yourself most people don’t know
I was a Black belt in Taekwondo when I was a kid and was actually flexible, I could do splits and kick over my head and I hated to run.
