Coaches & Staff
Who We Are
All of our coaches have the passion for helping people get more fit. But thats just not good enough. It takes experience and expertise and our coaches have it in spades. In addition to EVERY CrossFit Murfreesboro coach (full-time or part-time) having their level 1 CrossFit Certification, the staff is peppered with 4 year degrees in exercise science, nutrition and more. We have multiple USAW Weightlifting coaches, USAG Gymnastics coaches, ACE and NSCA certified coaches. You will be hard pressed to find a more impressive staff of coaches anywhere! Our coaches are available for one on one training. Rates vary according to coach. Contact CFM to be put in touch with your coach of choice.

JV has been at CFM since 2011, and in her 5+ years with us, we believe she’s completed a total of only 17 WODs. She does the majority of her “workouts” at Taco Bell or any other Mexi restaurant in the greater Nashville area. As our handler, she knows all things CFM from the life stories of our newest members to the details of preparing our taxes. When she’s not working at the gym, she will be found on a beach (obviously, not doing handstands) or working one of her other million jobs. She has a BBA from MTSU in Accounting and Economics and is crazy about Jesus!
Brad was born and raised here in Murfreesboro. He played basketball for Central Magnet High School for 3 years. Brad picked up Crossfit his senior year in high school and ended up getting his CF-L1 the summer after graduation. Currently, he is at MTSU pursuing a Bachelors in Health Education and Lifetime Wellness. His favorite workout is One Arm Amanda. Least favorite workout was a 1k row. Golf, tennis, and Call of Duty all have a place in his heart. Bees, wasps, the dark, and swimming do not.
Leslie is an Energy Engineer with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University. She started CrossFit in September of 2012 with the goal of becoming more physically fit. Since joining the Crossfit Murfreesboro community, she has managed to exceed and continuously improve upon her health and fitness goals. Leslie is a Level 1 CrossFit Trainer and a USAW Sport Performance Coach. She is passionate about showing people how Crossfit can improve their quality of life by keeping them athletic, healthy, strong, and mentally acute at all stages of their life. Leslie’s favorite workouts are ones that involve using a barbell. In her spare time, she likes reading and watching sci-fi TV shows and movies.
